Dublin Pride Parade 2020
This year the Dublin Pride Parade is a virtual online event at 2.00pm Sunday, June 28th. To mark what would have been the day of Dublin Pride and to honour our Frontline workers, who collectively are our Grand Marshal this year, a small group representing Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride, The National LGBT Federation, TENI, This Is Me, LGBT Ireland, BeLongTo, HIV Ireland and Queer Diaspora Ireland carried the Pride flag at sunrise from the Garden of Remembrance down O’Connell Street. They were accompanied by a small convoy of vehicles representing Frontline workers that included Dublin City Council, the HSE, Dublin Fire Brigade, An Garda Siochana, Civil Defence, An Post, Tesco, Freight, Pulse Security Festimed and Safe Events. Dublin Pride would like to thank Dublin City Council, An Garda Siochana and Safe Events for making this event possible. We would also like to remind all LGBTI+ people that we are always here to carry the flag for those who cannot. Pride is never cancelled. The 2020 Virtual Pride Parade will stream live from the Round Room at the Mansion House from 2.00pm on Sunday, June 28th and be followed by a free online Pride Concert at 7.00pm.
Performances at the Rainbow Rooms Arts Night in the Grand Social on 19th June 2011.
