I'm a musician and visual artist from Canada who teaches guitar & violin for a living, and performs solo, and with songwriting partner Julie McCann in our folk/rock ensemble, "Hazy Maidens". My videos may not be as plentiful for the next 6 months, due to the Hazy Maidens performance and recording schedule, but I'll try to do at least one a month.


Q: Can I get the tabs?
A: Please don't ask me for tabs; I'm sure you can search for them online, but I don't use them. I read music and/or play by ear. All instrumentation, vocals and musical arrangements are by me, unless otherwise stated in the song description. None of the music here is computer generated.

Q: Why don't you play more originals?
A: Well, most of my originals are Hazy Maidens tunes, co-written with my close friend and sister-in-law Julie McCann. We are presently in the studio recording them, and after we release the recording, we will likely give some live performances of our tunes here and on myspace.
In the meantime, I'm paying tribute to the most inspirational music in this genre that I know and love.
